Conversation Hearts

Now that I’m finished with school, I have more time to bake.  I’m loving it! Patriots won the Superbowl last night and I got to bake some awesome heart shaped cookies with a recipe over @Sallysbakeblog, check her out! She has some really delicious ideas.

I get to combine my two favorite loves, baking and photography. I practice both on my weekends off from work. So here is a picture of my heart shaped cookies made with royal icing. I know the title above says Conversation Hearts and that is what they are supposed to be, but I’m not so good at writing with icing. Need to practice the writing thing a little more before I go public with it. 

MoonPies

Hey there thanks for following me!

I made some awesome MoonPies yesterday.  It was a rainy day yesterday so what did I do? I baked. It is the only thing I like to do on a rainy day. Sunday became my Fun day!

I have to give credit where it is due, thank you to Sally’s Baking Addiction for the awesome recipe. They turned out to be delicious and they were a hit with my boyfriend who said he would be angry with me if I took these MoonPies to work to share.

I followed Sally’s recipe to a T and added everything except for the ground cloves. I did not have any ground cloves on hand, so I conveniently left them out. Will definitely plan to make these again.
